Wow, it actually sounds like Nintendo Land would work better as a real place rather than just a game.
No kidding. Then again, I hope an actual theme park looked better than Nintendo Land, I don't really like the Wii Sports style look of that game.
There would hopefully be at least one haunted house themed after Luigi's Mansion and at least one rollercoaster based on the mine cart and rollercoasrer levels from the Donkey Kong Country series.
I don't like rollercoasters for one, but I'm pretty sure that would be a bad idea. I've played enough mine cart levels to know that most of the track is missing... So law suits. Law suits everywhere.
Though if they did have a theme park I would go to it. I mean think of what you could win. Yoshi plush toys.
Not necessarily. Nowhere did I say they'd have to perfectly mirror the fictional levels, just be a safe, rollercoaster version of them. You can do a lot with a ride that looks fancy and exciting without making it physically dangerous, see any Disney or Universal theme park.

Imagine something like that, or this:

Of course, it wouldn't leave the ground or have a chance at hitting the scenery, but damn it'd look awesome to give the illusion of that. This one would be good as a theme park ride too:

Just make the track turn two seconds before the car looks like it's about to hit something like the tombstones and bang, a pretty entertaining (and darn scary) ride.
