What is your favourite PS game?

Personally, my favorite game series (because they all go together) is the .hack series for PS2, I like both the .hack and .hack G.U, especially that they played off of each other. I wish they would've made more/updated them for the newer consoles, as I haven't found any other games like those. I also am a sucker for the KH series (being a girl and all...) but I wish they would stop doing the re-mixes and just make more games to flow with the story line!!! :notright:

I love Grand Theft Auto, but haven't been able to play any of the games in a while. GTA is so fun though and a great game to play if you are bored and have nothing else to do. I also like being able to beat levels and complete the game. One time, I played for days on end and don't think I slept at all, just to beat the game, lol. I was younger when I did that though and know better now not to do that. :) lol

My kids played .hack forever, looked like a great game.

I love everything about The Last of Us, one of the best stories I have ever experienced, even better than most popular movies for being a video game. The atmosphere this game has is just so amazing, the gameplay is not revolutionary but I enjoyed it, Naughty Dog once again showed us how much capable they are in making a game with excellent storyline and graphics. The characters are well written and they develop in a wonderful way as you play, I really like that this game has no hero, it's a different approach to what many games regularly do. This is one of those games in which you can get emotionally attached to, because it is really intense in every way possible.

Ha, I never thought I find other .hack lovers on this forum. It's a really great series and there is more games, one on PSP and PS3 but they haven't brought them state side :(

Yeah, my favorite series is .hack as well.

If I get to pick any game then its going to be Tribes for the PS2. I had the internet adapter for my PS2, I can not even begin to count how many days I wasted away playing Tribes on the PS2. FFXI would be a close second I have many fond memories of that game and my PS2.

I can't pick just one, either. Xenogears for the nostalgia factor, clearly it's influenced me so much up to this day.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 became my first over-the-moon-about-it fandom since Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Final Fantasy XII is just a giant sandbox of prettiness that I just want to wallow in. I thought the semi-real time battle system was very intuitive, and I didn't mind that it was an ensemble story because I liked all of the characters--yes, even those two twinks.

The Monster Rancher and Spyro (PS1 triology) have some good memories for me. I've actually been replaying MR4 and Spyro 3 recently, so that's why they're the first things to come to mind right now, even though they're older titles. Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank were also good. I never had a PS3 until very recently, nor a PS4 ever. I briefly played Flower on the PS3 and that was a pretty cool game. Very relaxing.

I agree with everything you just said! I love this game so much, I hate to pick a favorite but if I had to I would probably pick this one. I got so emotionally attached to the characters in this game. It made me cry. Watching Joel and Ellie's relationship grow and bond was so perfect. It's so intense, it has my emotions going every second I'm playing, whether it's crying about the story line, or my heart beating faster and getting nervous when I'm sneaking up behind a clicker. A lot of people didn't like the ending of this game, but I thought it was absolutely perfect. One of the best for sure. I've always loved Naughty Dog games and I loved the Uncharted series so I had high expectations for this game, but they totally exceeded them.

Other games that I'd consider favorites would have to be Grand Theft Auto, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect.

To pick one favourite game would be quite hard. But I definitely have a favourite serie, that is FIFA. Out of all the FIFA's I have played, my favourite would probably be FIFA 11. I have a lot of good memories about that game.

GTA 3 has been my all time favourite game, back on the PS2. I still plug it in and play it every new and again. Flying the river in a tank shooting backwards brings back a lot of nostalgia!

Being a PC Gamer I never owned a console until PS3 (Got it for GTA IV) but one of the most fun games I played on the PS2 socially was Tekken Tag Tournament. We'd just play for hours 4 of us and it was a lot of fun and didn't require a high skill cap as none of us were taking it too seriously. Sometimes when you take a game seriously all the fun drains out and we lose the true reason why we play games.

Mine would be the first Devil May Cry, although admittedly I haven't really gotten to play much of the sequels apart from the second one, so I don't really have much to compare it to. I even prefer it over God of War, despite GoW being much more current and complex, but the theme has a lot to do with that as well since I'm not really that much into Greek mythology in terms of setting and character design. I still remember being able to play this game at a friend's house and I wasn't able to put the controller down until completion, which rarely happens for me anymore with other games.

Its really hard to just choose a game because to me there were many titles on the PS that  I really liked. I liked Resident Evil and I really liked Metal Gear Solid that game was the best game that I think that I have ever played on the PS.

There are so many of hem to name  here. I mean when you look at the impressive catalogs of exclusive games Sony has, there is no doubt that one will have more than one favorite PS game. I have been the an of Uncharted, God Of War and Demon Souls. And yeah, you can't forget Uncharted series. Last Of Us was pretty amazing too.
