What made you buy the Wii U?

If you decided to buy the console, what was your reason for buying it? A game or multiple games you wanted to play or own? The chance of future games? The hardware?

I just like new consoles, especially new Nintendo Consoles.

For me its all of those reasons. I like the hardware,theres games im interested in for it that I want.(which is why I like Nintendo,they have games I like),and SSB4 is a must buy for me.

The thing I like about the Wii U that other consoles don't have is creativity. The gyro controller was impressive to me and its other features like the camera, touch screen, etc. it has the ability to bring a whole family to play any game that none other console offers. You can simply pick it up and start playing without instructions, depending on the game. The introduction to combine your TV and console was an amazing idea, why have to change settings and other stuff to enjoy watching Tv and playing video games when the Wii U offers it both and to be honest what they said is true, you really can't put a price tag on all the contents of the Wii U and its capabilities.

Gotta update to the new console. And the games. Let's face it I'd get the darn thing at launch even if Mario and Rayman weren't out on launch day, because I'd have to go upwards at some stage.
