One of the best devices that I enjoyed using (it didn't have a lot of features then) was Nokia 3310.

The ringing tone was extra loud that everyone around will know your device is ringing?

The flip phones, always wanted one but just didn't have the means to get one. Yet they make a comeback...

The blackberry phones were popular whilst I was in school but my family couldn’t afford one for me but everything happened on BBM so I missed out. For that reason I’d probably say them.

I think they tried to movie to android but it never did break into the market.

Classic problem of that era - they never kept pace with the likes of Apple and Android in their smartphone/mobile app compatibility offerings so eventually faded out.
When you lack creative people at the top of any company who aren't willing to follow the trend, that's what always happens.

I remember Palm Pilots PDA/Personal Digital Assistants which people used to use for using apps, and taking notes and drawing with a stylus.

I also remember old Nokia bar style phones, Blackberry phones, and the Motorolla Razr flipphones.

Motorolla Razor phones were so good. I liked them a lot.
