Korean Dramas I hear are pretty good but those are normally in a series.
This, Jewel in the Palce isn't bad.
Anime movies like Spirited Away, Totoro, and Castle in the sky are pretty good Japanese anime movies.
Let the Right One In - 100% recommended! It's a horror film in Swedish about a 12 year old befriending a vampire. We watch it every once and a while and it's still great. Honestly, a bit depressing but overall a fantastic film for horror fans.
Yeah 100% this, fantastic film. They also did an American version called "Let me In" which was actually very good.
Fun fact: The name "Let the Right one" is based off a Morrissey song of the same name.
I did not know that! I agree the American version was good but we typically rewatch the original.

City Hunter Jackie Chan movie based on the anime it's a 1996 year movie.
I've watched several K-Dramas. Good storylines, great acting. Some have funny scenes to help lighten the mood. I never like watching any show that is TOO deep without some humor thrown in.
I've heard that Train to Busan is a good Korean film. I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my watch list.
Though, I have been warned that it's very sad!
I suggest they watch Korea movie.

The Protector is a good recommendation. It's a Turkish movie. Another one will be Jumomg. It's a Korean movie.
