Well, we've had many of the better ones in Mario Kart 7 already, so what ones do you want in the next game?

Me personally, I'd quite like to see:

  • Mushroom City (Mario Kart Double Dash)
  • Tick Tock Clock (Mario Kart DS)
  • Rainbow Road (any)
  • Bowser's Castle (Mario Kart Double Dash)
  • Ribbon Road (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
  • Yoshi Valley (Mario Kart 64)
  • DK's Snowboard Cross (Mario Kart Wii)
  • Moonview Highway (Mario Kart Wii)
  • Wario Colosseum (Mario Kart Double Dash)
  • Broken Pier (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
  • Bowser Castle 4 (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
And a few others. Not sure which others, but a few.

What tracks do you want to see brought back? And how about bringing back some already featured tracks too, maybe as DLC or something?

Wario Colosseum (MKDD)

DK Mountain (MKDD)

Waluigi Pinball (MKDS)

and Baby Circuit (MKDD) ;)

We've already had Baby Park in Mario Kart DS, DK Mountain in Mario Kart Wii and Waluigi Pinball in Mario Kart 7. They would be good tracks to see return though...

Royal Raceway (N64) Rainbow Road (N64) Yoshi's Valley (N64) Luigi's Circuit (MKW) Wario's Stadium (N64) or Wario's Coliseum (MKDD) Toad's Factory (MKW) Dry Dry Ruins (MKW) Ribbon Road (MKSC) Donut Plains 1 (SMK) Mario's Circuit (MK7) Daisy's Circuit (MKW) Mushroom City (MKDD) Tick Tock Clock (MKDS) Bowser's Castle (MKW) Moo Moo Meadows (MKW) and Mario's Circuit (MKW). That's my 16 picks. If you agree or disagree that's fine.

P.S. I never played DS or Super Circuit so that's why I never named many from those games, so don't yell at me.

What would be a cool idea would be if they would have DLC for each Mario Kart Game. Maybe take the top 4 courses from each game and put them in packs? That or put all the retro tracks in as DLC so people could pick and choose what tracks they would want. It'd be a good way to make money on Nintendo's part too.

Shell Cup -

DS - Figure 8 Circuit

3DS - Cheep Cheep Lagoon

NGC - Dry Dry Desert

Wii - Toad's Factory

Banana Cup -

SNES - Koopa Beach 1

GBA - Cheese Land

3DS - Music Park

Wii - DK Summit

Leaf Cup -

DS - Tick Tock Clock

3DS - Rock Rock Mountain

NGC - Sherbert Land

Wii - Wario's Goldmine

Lightning Cup -

NGC - Mushroom City

Wii - Grumble Volcano

3DS - Wario's Shipyard

N64 - Rainbow Road

Quite honestly, the only course not being there that would anger me is NGC Sherbert Land. I absolutely love that track.

I pick those 16 courses based on a combination of logic and making use of tracks I love and I assume are a general majority favorite as well.

Speaking of retro tracks: What kind of worries me about this game is that if future Mario Karts don't use the anti gravity mechanic they won't be able to use this game's courses in retro cups unless they heavily modify the them.

To be honest, I don't think that's a problem. They'll just constantly bring back the anti gravity mechanic like how this game is bringing back the gliding and underwater mechanics.
