I agree, the HP an013nr is not bad for $200 since you get 4GB of RAM, a 1080P 14 inch screen, and Radeon R2 graphics which seem like a lot of decent features for $200 which can't buy a lot of good individual computer parts at a store.
Most older laptops from a few years ago mostly came with slower Intel HD onboard graphics, or slower Nvidia or AMD onboard graphics chips which were only good for 2D programs like MS Word, web browsers, and playing 720P or lower resolution video files. But, the video chips were bad for playing games. The RAM in old laptops used slower DDR2 RAM, or slower DDR3 ram. The video chip also used the slower RAM on the laptop for video RAM which is needed to show video with the video chip. The CPU processors and video chip temperature ran hotter in the past, so laptops can't run at higher speed for long amount of time unless the cooling fan spins faster. But, the fan usually do not spin fast because it will make the laptop fan noise will be louder, and make the battery life not as long because the fan uses more electricity when it is spinning faster.
Newer laptops now come with a faster and more efficient CPUs and graphics chip from Intel, AMD or Nvidia, and DDR3 RAM which are better for playing games like Minecraft, Dota 2, Guild War, and League of Legends. But, users may need to lower the video quality to low or medium video quality settings, and lower the screen resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768 pixels to make the game playable.
The HP Stream 11 which is a slower new $200 Intel Celeron based laptops can run some PC game titles on low to medium video quality settings. The Stream 11 with a Celeron N2840 2.16Hz CPU, 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM and Intel HD Graphics can run League of Legends according to a few YouTube videos I watched.
