What's your yearly gaming budget?

Do you usually have a fixed budget on your gaming every year or do you spend based on what you can see out there to buy? I know a guy that spends more than $1000 on his video games hobby every year and he mostly play on mobile phone.

I already have that money for PS5 stashed. I'm not even counting it in on mine

Excluding the cost of the computer itself (which is several hundred pounds, but isn't every year and isn't solely for gaming), I don't think it amounts to more than £200 per year.

I tend to buy fewer games, but buy replayable ones that I can get hundreds of hours out of.

For digital games, it's whatever I have saved in my Switch account. Maybe $40 a year. For physical games between $100 and $120 a year.

I just don't see any useful asset out of a Digital purchase other than sometimes less money to get a game.

You're right about that and also you can easily resell your physical games.
