When using the touchscreen on the 3DS (or DS, DS Lite, or DSi), do you ALWAYS use the touchpen?

Is it just me or does the position of the stylus holder in the 3ds seem a lot easier to reach for left handed people than right handed people(I'm left handed)?
I'm right handed and I reach it very quickly without any problems, so no, I doubt it.

I often just use my finger. I probably shouldn't but I see little point is preserving the screen when I have clothes to clean it after anyway..

Judging by that comment, your touchscreen probably looks like this:

ha ha! I love how you even guessed what game I would be playing XD.

Actually know. I have a very clean screen actually since I wipe it off with my cleaning cloth when I'm done. But when I'm playing it.... I'll give you that one XD

I like this topic. I am super obsessed with keeping my systems in pristine condish... I only use the stylus, doesnt matter what game I am playing. I EVEN use screen protectors. haha I just dont like keeping a grubby system!

A cleaning cloth?
This is the example of someone who cares a tiny bit less about keeping his touchscreen finger-less.

For me it depends, if im like surfing in the browser I use my finger, but when im texting I use the touchpen, as well like playing, if there is big buttons, I use my finger otherwise I use the stylus

I don't always use the stylus..I do use my fingers for minor things. But, I always clean my 3DS completely after a couple of days, or before I'm going to a birthday party or something. That's the downside to the 3DS...it gets dirty really easily.

Only when im on the home & main menus...theres no time to use the stylus while playing mercenaries 3d...i sumtimes use it on revelations

I'm using the stylus on the screen since it comes with a fingerprint.
Does not matter too much because they put a seal to protect the screen though.

^ this.

I agree with you. I don't use anything but my stylus. I do use my finger at some points, like starting a game up. Only time I find myself not using it. Unless I loose it. Which is a bad habit I used to have.
