Which Mario game do you wish will be on the 3DS??

Personally, I'd love to see another Super Mario World title (Not super mario bros, though new super mario bros wii was heavily influenced from world). A super mario 64 sequel would be nice. One where you have the paintings to jump through. It had a huge hub world, very nice levels, tons of replay value. The galaxy games were nice, but there are only so many gravity based games I can take.

Oh boy, difficult choice. But I'll vote Mario and Luigi RPG 4. Why? Let me explain:

It's far too early for a Super Mario Galaxy game. Yes, the first and second ones were good, and I guess Nintendo could make the title 'Super Mario Galaxy 3D' as a joke, but I don't want to overly 'saturate' the Galaxy series too much. Basically, a Galaxy 3DS would be a disaster as far as content goes, they were already running out by the end of Galaxy 2 (note all the filler content and rushed levels from other games), and when you add the fact it'd come right after Super Mario 3D Land (which has took many of the ideas it might use) and on a weaker console than the Wii, it'd just pale in comparison to the earlier games.

New Super Mario Bros is the same. It's been beaten to death a bit too much, and the series seems to have run out of 'interesting' ideas (see, the style and Miis in New Super Mario Bros Mii for the Wii U). Nothing wrong with 2D Mario, I think it'd just be better if they dropped the 'New Super Mario Bros' brand and style and just flat out made a proper sequel to the older games, like a literal Super Mario Bros 5 or 6.

Super Princess Peach 2 would be a bit of an anticlimax, I don't think too many people even cared for the first game. Plus, the theme itself seems to have been beaten mostly to death in the original, you can't do a whole lot more with a single player game with Peach as playable, vibes and the setting in general. Maybe if it was a game starring Daisy like this one:

(but obviously, less amateurish and NIntendo made), then it might be okay. Still not a priority though.

Super Mario Sunshine 3D just wouldn't work. Why? Because the original kind of did much of what could be done with the setting and gameplay mechanics. I tried to figure out how the game could have been better, and unfortunately my analysis is that you probably couldn't get much more than ten distinct levels out of it. And truth be told, if you wanted all new content, and no overlap with the original, you'd be hard pressed to have even the amount of content the original had. I mean, what didn't they do which would fit on a realistic tropical island? Cruise ship, pirates, jungle, ruins, volcano (proper), maybe a religious type building/castle on the main land, safari... and well, that's about all the level themes you might have left. If you were to set it near Isle Delfino, you probably couldn't even plausibly have all that in the game...

Yoshi's Island 3 could be good. As long as someone other than Artoon made it. Give it to GoodFeel (they made Wario Land Shake It), and I think they'd probably get the general feel of the game down just fine, plus they'd give it an interesting art style (see, Kirby's Epic Yarn) and some great boss battles (see both games they made).

Not sure about Super Mario World 3D. Wouldn't want a remake.

So yes, Mario and Luigi RPG 4 seems to have most potential in my opinion.

I feel the Galaxy series was practically designed for a 3DS outing. Or at least a game using the same gameplay mechanics. Imagine a Zelda Galaxy 3DS game...
The possibilities are endless for Galaxy (or at least the game engine) on 3DS.

Nah. I'd say that the galaxy games should stay on a console. The type of mario game that should go on the 3ds has been made already. I don't see galaxy taking good use of the 3d on the 3ds. But even so, I'm kinda hoping they're done making galaxy games. As far as a zelda galaxy game, I don't think nintendo would take that kind of risk. Why stray from a working design?

While I don't think Zelda Galaxy is a great idea, I do think you need to understand that the series needs a bit of a boost, its sales have been going down ever since Ocarina of Time. A breath of fresh air could revive the series dramatically (how did Skyward Sword do by the way? That was a big change)

But back to the topic.

I know...
Innovation at Nintendo is mainly restricted to consoles...
Pokemon Black/White and Skyward Sword did change their respective series quite a bit, but the formulae for each series stays roughly the same...
A Zelda Galaxy would be cool though...And Skyward Sword is a small bit different but the: 'quest, dungeon, boss, repeat' is still there under all the fancy new items and controls...

Sorry, this is getting off topic. I still maintain that Galaxy would work best on 3DS...

Sunshine I say! It's about time that game gets a sequel!

Yoshi's Island 3... awesome.
Just one thing... the music needs to be better than Yoshi's Island DS. That's the only downside to that game. Everything was ridiculously 'calm'.
Compare the Castle theme from Yoshi's Island DS to the original:

(Yes, I uploaded that, and yes, that is the official channel of... this place, YAY! Bragging FTW <_<)

Or for a more extreme case, the Japanese Final Boss theme from Yoshi's Island DS, and the original Final Boss theme.
(the non-Japanese does not have that faster part, so basically it has that boring slow first part looping endlessly -- also guess who uploaded this, and guess who's channel it is <_________________________________<)

Now the original:

As well as this, or alternatively, a Yoshi's Story sequel, OR remake. And the remake if one ever happened, would have extended stages (as in, extra rooms with more items, and maybe existing rooms may have extra areas not in the original version) -- possibly also more stages, like a 'Secret Page', and the music for this page, should be the following unused Yoshi's Story song:

Personally I think Nintendo will do a Sunshine remake since DS has a 64 remake. By the way I REALLY hope Nintendo will get rid of New super Mario Bros. and make an all new 2D Mario game! This game title has been reused 3 times! Super Mario World is my favorite 2D Mario game because I love it's map design. All the worlds are combined in one map, has different world names like "Doughnut Plains" , and it has so much secret levels and paths! Nintendo is getting better at 3D Mario games but at the same time they are losing creativity at 2D games.

Hoping for something like Super Mario 64 DS. Was so many things to do, so many characters to play as and so many places to discover. I wish that Super Mario 3D Land could have a bit more 3d select screen like in SM64DS.
