Rick Roll is just so old now...... so that one.

Precisely. While the song is not bad (although that's an opinion not a fact), it's the actual RickRolling itself that's so boring. Well, annoying. As someone said on an article from some site, "It stopped being funny the second time".

If I was to say that this is my favourite song and post this, that wouldn't be annoying:

If however, I was to say "New Mario Kart 3D footage", and posted the "Cake Mix", this would be annoying:

That sounds plausible, what being a 12 year old. OK, any one who actually has a meme they actually hate, because of how overused it is?
How dare you call me a 12 year old....10 year old

That My Little Pony obsession that 80% of forums and Youtube have. It's My Little Pony, what's so great about it? And why must you spam pictures of it constantly?

Over 9,000. Seriously.

Also, wasn't there already a thread about this?

So... tricking people into watching a 1987 song is funny? Saying so many things about Chuck Norris, it just gets boring and saying something that means 'greater than a value represented by the symbols 9000 in that order" are funny? No they are not. They never WERE funny. You'd have to be pretty immature to find these actually funny. They were never funny in the first place. If they were, they've been used far too many times. As I said on NZ, memes have pretty much been overused so much, that "the meme" is itself a meme, that itself is overused.

well,i think its funny.people have different opinions.

Rickrolling, heh. You click on a video and just sigh as the song plays on Youtube and look at how the poster has been rated bad and been abused before realising you are wasting your downloads so you quickly look for another video.

I know there's such thing as opinions, but.... seriously I simply can NOT see what's actually funny about a song that came out in the 80s sung by a British singer? It's a song. I also simply can't see what's so funny about something being greater than a certain number? I have over 50 games. I have over 9000 views on all my videos on YouTube. So what? And please for the love of God, tell me what is so funny about making up the same stupid jokes? Jokes are supposed to be funny. But if you play a joke for too long, how can it be funny? No offence, but how can ANYTHING be funny if it's used so many times you just want to freaking kill the person who invented internet memes.

Also, one of the oldest ever internet memes which dates from about 1996, is the dancing baby.

Nothing ironic. I was just seeing what happens if I RickRolled Dolphin using two of the most annoying videos involving a song called Never Gonna Give You Up
Yes, it's a real song. It's not "The Rick Roll song" that someone made up for the purposes of Rick Rolling

Most memes are funny at first but lose comedic value quickly. The only meme I don't typically tire of is Demotivationals.
