The XL does look neat, but so far I only have the regular 3DS. Don't really plan on getting the XL anyways.

I will buy both versions of the game, but I don't think it's worth it to buy a console because of one game. The XL is not too cheap. I would rather keep my 3DS and buy a new game instead.

Everyone who I know told me they're upgrading to the XL just for SSB-3DS (mainly for the larger screen).

I've got the 3DS XL in silver / black. I mainly purchased it to play old NES and SNES roms on a bigger screen

I had a 3DS at launch.  After I got the wiiU at launch, the GamePad screen size spoiled me, so then I upgraded to the 3DS XL around Xmas time.

Lol I had to, there wasn't any other in the local stores. Good news is that it is a US 3DS.

Bad news is, you'll have to wait a couple more months for Bravely Default for the Sequel.
