Why did people watch anime

Why did people like anime.I watch anime because i learn many things from them.

If you want to learn something, there is school and books.

I watch anime because characters sort of look better than American cartoons and they're actually interesting. Some of 'em, of course.

I used to judge anime as kids stuff (because I was an ignorant fool).  A friend told me there were mature themed anime's out there and there are.  I watch it for the interesting characters and stories.

I watch them because I find them very entertaining and hold story plots and characters far better than anything you will find from the states.

Because anime is very far from reality, it's fun.
