Why do you love or hate your country?

That's what me and every Canadian has been complaining about since the 1990s. it's always been like this. They don't want people to take insurance off for the winter.

Those are the type of situations that will make citizens go for a protest and it is never good for the country when such a situation occurs.

Would going for a protest fix it? I'm not sure since it's been on like that with them since the 1990's. It's now like a norm.

If it is a government that wants to do the right, their hands will be forced with a protest. That is just the truth of the matter.

There is no fighting the gov't. They have us all registered at birth and forced to follow the path they want.

All we can do is earn enough money to throw at them and still have beer in the fridge.

So, aside what happened during childbirth, no one can say no to the government?

This thread reminds me of how many people I went to high school with “threaten” to move town (or leave the country) when they turn 18, and they’re still living in the same town I went to school in. I graduated in 2008.

Moving to a different location is never an easy task. A lot of planning will always go into it.

You get used to it if you move around like I do. Even spent a few years in the UK and got annoyed at driving on the wrong side of the road and their inconsistent flip flopping between measurement systems. Thank god the US doesn’t have a TV tax.

The annual car inspections were dumb, and I had a few years reprieve back in America, and now I’m in a state that does it…

They won't even let us be with all their taxes. They are greedy as fuvk!!

They make people enter school from 4 years old for starters.

I got a criminal record by the govt in which there are restrictions by the govt. If I spend money to attempt to get a pardon, the thing made by the govt, I can exit the country depending on if the govt grants it. Of course I have to pay the the court which is owned by the gov't to make this attempt. and if I am granted I can exit the border once I pass the gov't employees at the border if they let me. All the while.
You see what I did there. the gov't is all in everything.

The Govt is everywhere and they force people to work their entire life and live out their lives for them. They exploit every advantage they can to take money from people at every angle. divorce, tickets, license, retirement homes, life insurance, etc. You cannot hide.
Like I said.... they want you to register your raspberry bushes........

It's some type of capitalism slavery system.

I got this divorce once and there was nothing to argue about and nothing to dispute and the gov't REJECTED the application to get a divorce then random lawyers started calling my ex-wife to tell her they are "There to fight for her". So basically the gov't used the marriage contract to extort money and they force people to dispute so they will purchase the courts for weeks.

This is my country.

There's this particular saying that there's no place like home. How does that affect your love or hate for your home country? Do you believe that the government are doing enough to make you love or hate your country?
What I love about my country is that they hard working people but what I hate is corruption.

I don't love my country but neither do I hate it. It's all I've got. If I can create my own country and live in it alone, then I would decide how I want it to be.
