I never got this. In most bonus mini games/Mini Dimensions, you hear this theme as the intro:

Except in the second mission of the Old Clockworks, you hear this theme as the intro:

Then it uses the music to Outlandish Interruption throughout the game itself...

And this awesome music when you win:

Why? What's special about THIS particular bonus game that means it gets a new soundtrack? I don't recall any others have awesome remixes of the bonus music. And it seems like a bit of a wasted song if you ask me...

What do you think?

Nintendo likes doing things like that, apparently. In the original Super Mario 2 they decided to make only ONE level have Clawgrip for a boss in the U.S. version, and then there are some stages where you will only find a single pink shy guy (all the rest are red) in Doki Doki Panic, just to name one game for an example. It constantly confuses the hell out of me. lol It is right up there with "why did they decide to pallet swap the mushroom?" that I constantly ask myself. Nowadays, we know the mushroom as red with white dots - opposite Toad's hat - but have you ever noticed the very first Super Mario Brothers it is orange with red dots? The 1-up was yellow with green dots. Why the change and why have we never gone back? lol
