Why doesn't GameStop have a return policy?

I recently purchased a new PS Vita Slim from them. I asked if I had 14 days to return it if I didn't like it and they said no, once I purchase it, it's mine. I impulsively bought it even though I knew I could just go to Target and buy it and they'd let me return it.

Why don't they take returns?

From what I can gather is that they don't want to be a use and return store.

I've heard they give you like no money for trade-ins too.

Yeah, for most games you get only a couple of dollars for the trade it. Some really popular games are a little more, from what I understand, but overall you shouldn't expect much for any trade in. You might be better off trying to sell your games on ebay, even.

Their trade ins aren't great but its a free hassle way of doing it.
