Why Games Still Have Bad Loading Times

Hardware gets faster, which makes bigger developers want to make use of it more by adding even more bloated assets, which of course take more time to load.
As long as hardware improves, they will make their assets more bloated.
As as long as assets get more bloated, long loading times will be here to stay.

that's why I say gaming needs to pause, just let hardware become better and not keep matching it.
