Why I'm pretty sure NSMB2 is going to reuse old Music...

I know people are gonna say "the final game is not out yet" but I still think NSMB2 will use music from NSMB Wii. Judging by this:


This video is from the official Japanese website, which shows that all the BGMs were from NSMB Wii, only with some minor tweaks. Considering when SM3DL was not out yet the website has already shown new music... I'm sure these BGMs will be in the final game, pretty disappointing I'd say.

The good thing is considering that the 3 songs in the NSMB U demo were remixes of the same melody (like in SMW, heck, overworld, athletic, underground, ghost house and castle all shared the same melody), so the underground theme might change...

i dont see the issue here, why change the music? this isnt a whole new game here, i love all the music from the past NSMB games
 
Guys? You do realise that the video is probably from a "pre-new-music-put-into-the-game" demo, right?

They'll probably update it in the next couple of weeks, seeing as there's only 24 days until it's released.

If they're not gonna put the old songs in the game, why would they tweak them?

Here's my theory.

Old demo - tweaked old NSMBWii songs
Final game - possibly new tracks?

Maybe they just tweaked them for a demo, but they're putting new songs on the actual final game?
 
They will reuse some old music, sure, but then, most Mario games reuse old music (the Super Mario theme, for example).

But this will also include new music. DUH.

There isn't gonna be any song in this game that is EXACTLY the same one from NSMB or NSMBWii.
How do i know? Well, does NSMBWii uses any of the song from it's antecessor? Nope. It's uses remixes or completely new themes.
Also, that video is actually old. There are more recent videos that show new music for both grassland and forest.

If I'm not wrong, I remember also hearing a new tower theme.
I will try harder, but really, I can't remember where did I saw it.
 
I know the demo versions have the NSMBWii Tower theme, but also have added the "annoying-for-most" Bwah sounds.

Also, Darking, just incase this isn't clear.

New Super Mario Bros 2 is a 3DS game released in August (or in 21 days if you're in Japan)
New Super Mario Bros U is a Wii U game released... whenever the Wii U is released, or near enough.

THat is, there are TWO, not one but TWO "New Super Mario Bros" games coming out this year, just incase you're confusing that with this.

No no no, Im Pretty sure I saw an video of NSMB2 wich had new themes for grassland, forest (though I'm not so sure about this on), and now that I remember, tower levels too.
But it's like if them just vanished! I even remember some escenes of the video, with Mario jumping in some note blocks in a grassland level.
But I can't find it again
