Wii Wii turned on after years of inactivity

hello,
it was june 28 2013,when in my birthday i got the PS3,
i was so happy that i couldn't stop getting addicted to it
then my wii as abandoned,no touching it,we almost sold it
but instead we putted it in the wii box,we left it in the
attic for 2 years,until,we decided to unbox the wii,
we bought a few games from our local dvd store
then,it happened...wii turned on after 2 years
of inactivity

Though it probably says something that by the time you got round to it, Nintendo has announced a successor in the Wii U, mostly killed off said successor and announced the Nintendo Switch.

I got back into playing a couple of games on the Wii here recently. I can't remember the last time I played it though before this. I doubt it's been 2 years though.

Our Wii was unboxed a few months ago now and my kids play on it daily now, they only really play either Mario Kart or Wii Sports but it does get used and after around 3 years the Wii still works now.

I'd say it went a year if not over boxed up and a little more than that sat doing nothing before we boxed it up
