I think that there will be many cheap electric car buyers who will not spend as much money on alloy wheels made of aluminum or magnesium, racing tires, and leather seats or racing seats compared to cheap gas car buyers who maybe more likely to modify their car to make their cheap gas car look cooler, and their car become more popular with friends who play a lot of racing video games and watch car racing and racing anime like Initial D.

People who buy cheaper electric cars like Cheap Chinese electric cars, Renault Twizy which cost €6,750 or 8,839 US dollars, electric compact cars may mainly buy a cheap electric car to save money on gas, and car maintenance because electric cars don't need oil changes like a gas car, and there are fewer parts which will break. A lot of cheap electric car buyers may find it more convenient and cheaper to charge their car at home rather than having to go to the gas station all the time to fill up a gas car.

People who buy a cheaper electric cars may not want to spend a lot of money on alloy wheels, racing tires, leather seats, etc because cheaper electric cars may not make their electric car look much cooler and make them more popular with friends even if their cheap electric car have nicer wheels, tires, and seats.

Car parts can cost a lot of money where you can end up spending many thousands of dollars on parts to customize your car, so you end up not saving as many on your car if you install a lot of expensive accessories on it.

Expensive car parts like Magnesium and aluminum alloy car wheels also cost more to replace, and repair when damaged, so people who can only can afford a cheap car may not want to deal with expensive repair and replacement parts bills in the future.

Cheap electric cars also don't yet have a huge fan base compared to cheaper gas cars like Honda Civic which has a lot of fans because of movies like Fast and the Furious, Anime like Initial D and video games like Need for Speed Underground which made more people interested in modifying their cheaper cars.

Well, honestly, I am not so sure.
It depends on the person and how they prefer. If they are particular then they do spend more.

It can also depend on the car dealership, and how much time and effort they spend on convincing people to buy extra features like a nicer stereo system and aluminum alloy wheels when selling a car. Car dealers make more money on a car when they sell a car with nicer seats, aluminium alloy wheels, nicer carpet/floor mats, car alarms and a nicer sounding stereo system.

Some less patient people may buy a nicer more expensive version of the same car because the cheapest version is not available, and they are not willing to wait many weeks or months for a cheap car to be shipped from the factory to the car dealer.

The cheapest version of a car is sometimes harder to find at some car dealers because they are quickly sold out because of the low price, or the car dealer don't buy as many cheap cars to sell because they don't earn as much money per car sold. The cheapest version of a car can be harder to sell if the car dealer is located in a richer country where most people are more materialistic, wealthy, and tech savvy and care a lot about having all the extra car features like touchscreen stereo, and nicer interior like wood dashboard, leather seats, and chrome metal door handles.
