Will Mario be in Luigi's Mansion 2?

Either as kidnapped or as some bonus playable character? Even an NPC?

Because we haven't seen him yet unlike Luigi and E Gadd, and while I think a second kidnap would be a bit insane (and show remarkable stupidity on Mario's part), I do think it'd be only right to have him show up somewhere or another, even as a cameo.

I feel tempted to say he'll be captured again. However, destroying them both as a goal like last time as the main goal is debatable.

I think he'll be a bit of a bonus, because if Mario's kidnapped, he would be in one spot, right? And here, Luigi's travelling through many a mansion.

I have a feeling he'll provide some sort of support role this time around. Not quite as in-depth as E-Gadd and not quite as mundane as Toad, but still helpful. I mean, think about it. He got captured by these guys and they're back? Who wouldn't want revenge? And since Luigi has experience in these matters, it'd make sense to have him take them on again...

I think it's pretty much obligatory to have Mario make an appearance. I'm also tempted to so that he'll be captured again, but we shall see.

It'd be funny if Mario took Princess Peach's role and was taken with King Boo to every mansion until the finale.

Mario was in Luigi's Mansion for GC and it wasn't called Mario and Luigi's Mansion.

Anyway I honestly think Mario isn't stupid enough to fall for that same trick again, but then again Nintendo uses the same story so they're most likely going to make Mario do something stupid. Unless he acts like Toad in this game. When I say that I mean acting like a save point.

I'd say that Mario should be kidnapped by King Boo again. Because King Boo is going to reappear in Luigi's Mansion 2 but doesn't have a role yet.
