Do you think with the struggles Sony has had with the PSP and Vita that they will make another handheld? Not to mention their complete failures like PSP go.

I think they will.

Sure the Vita had a rough start. It had a hard time given it's price and lack of really compelling games at first. But with the price slashed (and memory card prices cut also) and more games coming to the Vita it's probably going to start to pick up. (They announced Borderlands 2 on Vita which is nice. And I wouldn't be surprised to find out that a God of War, inFAMOUS and another Uncharted are also in the works for Vita too. And it really needs those games.)

Plus the imminent PS4 with it's interconnectivity with Vita is sure to help it out. (Especially if they make a PS Vita and PS4 bundle... That would really help get more Vita's out there. And if it's just like 500$ for PS4 and Vita I think a lot more people would be willing to pay the extra hundred to get a Vita also.)

And once more people start buying the Vita, which will very likely happen, we'll see more games get made for the Vita. Publishers will see it more as a viable market. So focus will shift to it and they'll start making more games.

lol. PSP Go...? Was there ever such a thing?

I think they'll give it another go even if one of their handhelds fail. I'm not sure if they'll do it anytime soon because the PS Vita is still kind of new.

I'm not sure, but I think Sony may make a Smartphone with a PSP built-into it with button, and joystick controls like the Sony Xperia Play which can also play Android, and Playstation mobile games.

Although, the Xperia Play Smartphone did not do well, and people still prefer better phones like the iPhone 4S, and Samsung Galaxy S3 which are more popular.

They most likely will.

I've been checking the weekly console sales, and the Vita has been getting more popular recently, especially in Japan. Last week it was the second most sold console in Japan with 21k sold. Its still far behind the 3DS though, which had over 70k units sold.
