Will the Wii U ever catch on in the UK?

Out of curiosity, what do you think? It's failing miserably here at the moment, but every Nintendo system bar the Wii and handhelds has failed in the region too...

So is there a chance the Wii U will eventually sell well in the UK, or will it always be an extremely niche system over here?
 
I don't think I know anyone who has the Wii U >.< Unfortunately, I don't think the Wii U will ever be as successful in the UK as the new consoles coming out later this year... I do know quite a few people who have the Wii but they do not feel there is point in buying the Wii U as they assume the console is exactly the same as its predecessor.

Though maybe a miracle will happen sometime, the Wii U does seem to be better than the other new consoles such as playing online is free, but people seem to want to join the band wagon and I can't say Nintendo is very mainstream in the UK >.>

:O I always thought you're from Australia for some reason! Oh well, you learn something new everyday.

CoD is a best-seller over there, no? That explains their taste in games, and that explains the WiiU.

It's that bad there's a Call of Duty section in game shops -.-
