I'll be getting X version because I get the feeling that version will be better off for getting the fairy type seeing how the fairy type legendary is on the cover..unless Gamefreak pulls another switcheroo like B/W version (which was then flipped again in the sequel to match what was on the box.).

I'm hoping for that so I can get X version. I hated how I had to get White to get the black legendary. Though I still ended up buying White.
I'm getting Y because of Yveltal. I like the letter X more and I like Xerneas for its design, but Xerneas is a fairy type so that's a no go.
What's wrong with a new type that kix dragon a**. Do Spyros like you prefer gen 1 typing?
I just never cared for fairy type. I don't care if it beats dragon type. It could beat fire type for all I care. I just thought that fairy type was a stupid rumor that turned out to be the stupid truth. I mean out of everything, it's fairy type. Fairy isn't even a type of element.

That's a good point. it should have been called light type, and beaten dark.

Dark, Normal, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Ghost, and Dragon aren't types of elements...
DYL what you said was just silly.
I understand you don't like Fairy type but I think it is a great added feature that was long over due. It should have been in there from the beginning because of Clefairy.
Deal with it buddy.

Let me rephrase. Fairy doesn't fit with the typing. The typing is named after elements or some kind of style. Fairy isn't descriptive at all. Not like Dark (which is kind of an element), Dragons, Ghosts, Fighting, Flying, Psychic, and all those at least describe what kind of move it is. Fairy doesn't even have fairy moves. How would you even know what fairy move is? Are they going to Gen 1 it and just give them Fairy Punch?
Just because Clefairy has fairy in its name doesn't mean that it's a fairy. Even if it is, it's the only thing that can be a fairy.

Dark is not a kind of element... Fairy does fit the type and does describe what kind of move it is "Fairy". It fits in well right next to Dragon type. They are both mythical creatures. There is going to be more than one fairy move. Check out a few videos online. You can tell what a fairy move is just by checking your move list description. As for Clefairy it may be a Normal type but it is known as a Fairy Pokemon and im sure your aware that you can pretty much teach all types of moves to normal. So I wouldn't be surprised if you could teach it Fairy type moves. It might even learn some on its own.
