XP is also cheaper to buy on sites like eBay where you can buy a copy of XP for $20 or less.
Plus, a lot of the cheaper Windows 8 laptop and desktops only come with 2GB of RAM which is not enough RAM for playing PC Games in Windows 7, but 2GB is good enough for Gaming in XP.
