I was watching leno last night when he said that the US would be in short supply of street salt for this winter. Last year the US was running low on salt due to all the snow storms and if there is another bad winter things could get messy and more then what the economy is in right now. I also make money shoving streets so without much salt to use it will be a pain to do this year.

My next rant is: where in hell is Al Gore and his damn global warming talk!
 
Global Warming will end when we piss off Korea, who'll start a nuclear winter...

But, on topic, if you know how to dive in crappy, icy weather, there isn't too much of a problem.....that is, unless you're one of the morons who feel a need to go 65 on freaking black ice!!!

lol I believe your post has something to do with your recent rant.

anyways on topic. even if you know how to drive in it and have 4 wheel drive it still could be dangerous or undoable.

That's why we have feet, but still, we seem to have a surplus of table salt and that works just fine (I've tried it....).

To help cut back on salt usage, make a brine-like solution.
