Team 17's iconic Worms series has been around a while, and it's been almost a year since Worms Rumble was first announced. The battle royale Worms game, which originally released in December 2020 on PC and PlayStation, enjoyed crossplay functionality, and it appears that Nintendo Switch owners will soon be able to join in the fun too.
As part of Nintendo's E3 presentation today, it was announced that Worms Rumble was finally coming to Nintendo's hybrid console on June 23. Switch players will soon be able to join in the chaotic real-time action, and even play against PC and PlayStation users in matches with up to 32 players. And that's not all: to sweeten the deal, Team 17 is offering the exclusive Patchwork Bear outfit as a free download available at launch.
