What Zelda game do you think is the worst and why?

I agree with everyone above. The CDi games were absolute rubbish. In fact, Nintendo doesn't count them as canon and refuses to mention them. This topic is really pointless when they exist.......
However, I'll copy Nintendo and pretend they don't exist. Then I'd have to say... Four Swords Anniversary Edition. Sure, it was great fun with 4 players but Zelda isn't about multi-player. Zelda's all about solo adventuring. In my opinion anyway...

Probably Zelda II for me. Too much challenge and not enough fun.

How DARE you!?!?

Zelda II is one of my top 5 Zeldas EVER! Also I think there is no such thing as a bad Zelda but have to agree with JohnWaluigi that Four Swords didn't appeal as the rest. Hence the almost mandatory multi-player to actually enjoy this titles.

Not the cdi games for their absolutely amazing and beautiful cutscenes. I say Zelda II. I was going to say phantom hourglass, but it wouldnt be so bad without touchscreen controls

Only counting the ones I have played:
Zelda II on my 3DS

Zelda 2 is the most challenging, I'll give you that. But at least it was original for the series.

While people always hate on me for it, I say Majora's Mask. Mostly recycled graphics/textures/characters/music/game; creates time travelling paradoxes beyond counting; has a completely broken 6 bottle system plus Chateau Romani; many of the masks served only one purpose in the game/did not add to the gameplay value; most of the mini-games were just the same thing over and over (each requiring a perfect score for the reward); and was basically nothing more than a hastily constructed Zelda game that produced to sell a N64 graphics card.

Never played the CD-i games. But my least favourite Zelda game is Majora's Mask for pretty much the same reasons as SpoonSage. I also didn't like the 3 day cycle or the story. It's the only game in the series I have no desire to replay. I had to force myself to finish it.

Phantom Hourglass due to bad story, bad controls, and unfun back tracking or Wind Waker for just being a horrible piece of s*** game. The only thing that makes PH worse is the control. I mean I beat PH and ST, but I still haven't mastered the controls they're pretty hard to handle my hand covers up the screen and I get hit and it's really annoying.

Wind waker out of what ive played of the official nintendo titles probably because of its wind controlling always needing to be used and the cel-shaded graphics dont do it for me.I loved phantom hourglass though it was miles better.

*clears throat* okay there is no such thing as a bad Zelda game, *shoots the CDi games*
Buttt if I had to pick one that i just didnt completely love, it would probably be Link's Awakening....for me the GameBoy Zelda's just weren't as exciting and fun as the rest

Don't get me wrong I love the Zelda series and I don't believe in a bad Zelda game but if I had to pick my least favorite it have to be Zelda II. Sorry to all you fans of it but it's my least favorite.
