It is possible that many lower end electric cars may come with manual windows, manual locks, manual steering, and other manual features, so more people can afford them, and make a electric car use less electricity, and weigh less, so it can go farther per battery charge.

Electric windows, remote controlled automatic locks, and other electric car features use a little more electricity than manual versions of windows, locks, and steering which use no electrical power, so your range would be somewhat longer. Electric motors and circuit boards for Electric Windows, locks, and steering system can add some extra weight to a car which can shorten the range of a electric car, and also make an electric car slightly more expensive. Manual window cranks systems and door locks are also less likely to brake compared to electric motors, and circuit boards found on automatic windows and door system.

I think there are poorer car buyers who are more likely to buy an electric car if it uses less electricity because most parts like Windows and locks are manual, go farther per charge because parts like Windows, locks, steering are manual, and the car is a few hundred to thousands of dollars cheaper.

Some buyers may also more likely buy a electric car without a heater and air conditioner which uses more electricity, and adds more weight to the car which can reduce its driving range when not in use.

I don't think many people will go for electronic securities. Most people are scared for some problems might show up and they don't know how to fix it. They will prefer and will stick to the manual securities.

Fixing electronic security systems, and other electronic devices like automatic windows can be expensive, and difficult for mechanics to repair if the parts are no longer being sold at stores, and websites.

One of the problems with old broken cars is that it can be difficult finding electronic and mechanical parts for older model cars.
