Would Nintendo use Fuzzies again in Yoshi's Island 3DS?

The Fuzzies in Yoshi's Island are my favourite gameplay mechanic ever and I think they should return in Yoshi's Island 3DS!

But nowadays Nintendo is known for doing everything to keep their squeaky clean, familyfriendly image and for doing nothing that might cause any sort of controversy in their own games (especially in popular ones) so maybe they wouldn't use something that MIGHT look like a reference to drugs. Or rather the effect of drugs since the Fuzzies themselves don't look anything like any kind of drug. They just look like floating blowballs with eyes.
I mean they already toned down the trippyness in the GBA version for pity sake. (making the screen flash in white instead of in different colors and removing the warp effect in the bachground)

But they were so much fun! :O And now we actually have the technology to make the effect look really good and not as choppy as on the snes or GBA.

Do you think Nintendo would use them again? Or do they not have the guts?

I loved 'Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy' and I really do hope they include a similar level in the new Yoshi's Island 3DS. I would much rather have Fuzzies then the multiple babies mechanic.

I think they will. Keep in mind that one reason the effect was 'toned down' in the GBA version was because the GBA one literally could not do the same effects used in the SNES version.

And Yoshi's Island DS was plain lazy in a lot of ways, I wouldn't be surprised if they left it out just to save time/effort.

i hope so! they were my most hated enemy in paper Mario "to fight"! and the bounce noises LOVE IT

Wrong enemy heh. Those enemies are also called Fuzzies, but it's not quite the same ones we're talking about. He's talking about the white floating spores with little hairs on the edge and black eyes that if touched make everything visually trippy and wavey, making maneuvering difficult.

The gba COULD make the background wavey and the screen colorful. (It was used in Wario Land 4 for example.) But maybe it was too much at once for the GBA to handle without lagging. Pity.

And yeah, Yoshi's Island DS really was a chunk of lost potential.
