A fancy device that mixes the keyboard and the mouse into two pieces, one for each hand...

 
Hrmmmmm, very interesting. I would get it to try it out, but I've been using a keyboard for so long I don't know if I could adapt.
 
Depends on the price, but I'd give it a whirl. I used the Microsoft's Sculpt keyboard and mouse at work for a while and really liked it, especially the mouse.

If it is affordable, I may buy it because it looks cool, and comfortable to use.
 
I can see this type of keyboard being good for people who are learning to type, or want to improve their typing because their hands are always in the correct position, so they are less likely to use their right or left hand to type on letters for the opposite hand or look down on the keyboard as much when their typing has improve which can slow down their words per minute.
