Sure, every actor is a liar, especially those getting sponsored and/or appearing in commercial advertising. I don't see the problem.
Spot on! This situation shouldn't even be a moral issue! Celebrities endorse products every day. We know that they don't use them. It's not like you're telling people things about the product that aren't true. People say little white lies all the time, whether it be on a job application, college essay, or when you're in a meeting with Johnny Law. It's up to you to decide whether a product is worth buying. If all your viewers end up getting to enjoy the entertainment of video games, then it's a win-win. Times are tough and I'm willing to do a lot more stuff for money/products.Meh, I don't have a youtube channel that's widely popular and my personal opinion has no influence over anyone else. I won't be sacrificing my morals by saying I love a console even if I don't. I mean, I'm not harming anyone with my opinion and no company is going to weep tears of pain over my betrayal, this is no anime.
I get a positive benefit over a completely harmless lie that doesn't sacrifice my morals and doesn't affect anyone negatively, and probably won't influential anyone else into thinking like me.
Damn right I'm getting that free xbox, watch me.
Yeah because I doubt anyone would care that I liked a Xbox more than a PS4. Do I still get to use a PS4?
