Would you play a full rhythm-based RPG?

In Final Fantasy Theatrhythm, we are introduced to BMS, a battle system where timed hits are everything. In some reviews, journalists thought this was so entertaining, they wondered if a full RPG could be made using such a system for battles.

We've already seen musical (or at least musically pun-based) RPGs such as Eternal Sonata, so how about a completely musically driven game? Would you play it?

Also, in case you are completely lost, here is a quick video I found that shows a BMS level in Theatrhythm.

Edit: To specify, for those not familiar with this game, a perfect timed hit is critical or double damage, and a miss or bad rating let's the monster have a turn to attack you. Spells activate when you reach certain numbers of different hits. That's pretty much it for the basics.

Whoa, that looks really fun. I think I should get that game, actually.

And Rhythm Thief is mine.
A combination of Dragon Quest 9 and Elte Beat Agents/Rhythm Thief is a godsend.

However, Wuffy sucks at these games, as they aren't really quick time events like in Time Travelers. But a game like this has so much promise; old school tracks, leveling up... It looks really good.

I don't even understand the machanics of this game so I'm going to say no. I mean if it was something I like that used it like Mario then I might give it a shot, but if they use Final Fantasy again, I wouldn't try it.

Obviously, I meant applying what Final Fantasy did here to a brand NEW game. While, yes, other games could do the same thing, I was asking whether people thought a full blown RPG could exist with such controls, or, as some have stated here, they thought the gimmick of it would not last.
