The head of Microsoft’s Xbox division Phil Spencer will be making his (virtual) appearance on the surprisingly popular Animal Crossing talk show Animal Talking on Wednesday, August 12th at 7pm PT / 10pm ET. It’s a smart move on both Spencer and Whitta’s part, as the Xbox Series X is fast approaching its Holiday 2020 launch and this move is sure to put plenty of eyes on the show and the upcoming console.

The virtual show was created by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story writer Gary Whitta and has featured high-profile celebrities including Elijah Wood, Brie Larson, and Selena Gomez and is formatted after popular late-night talk shows.
