Back in 2005 Sega started the Yakuza series and now ten years later, they plan to remake the first game which was announced at TGS today. The first Yakuza game will be a high-def remake for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 which is due to come out for Japan in January 21st, 2016.
Well until we get news on a western release I will contain my excitement, Sega has really disappointed me with their track record of releasing games, took them forever before we finally got a Yakuza 5 localization in the works even though it was released 3 years ago, going to take another 2 or 3 years before we get Yakuza 0 or Ishin, which means the west may not even see this game for 8 years or so.
