I'm quite fond of the music from the Professor Layton series. Although its not exactly from the games, I especially like the music from Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva; it made the already enjoyable game music even better to me.

I'm surprised no one has said Paper Mario / Mario RPG yet. All of the entries in that series have had some great tunes, especially for boss battles.

• I like the Mother series music...pretty obvious. Songs such as "Bein' Friends" and "Pollyanna" are the kind of songs stuck with you for life..

• I really like the Sonic series music too, the music is always great! Some of my personal favorites from the series include "Endless Possibilities", and Sonic Heroes' "Sea Gate".
 
I agree. Sonic music is awesome. My favorite song would have to be... probably "Knight of the Wind" by crush 40. I also like "Team Chaotix", "His World", "Live and Learn", and "All Hail Shadow". They are all great songs, look them up on youtube.
 
I must say... Gerudo Valley from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time will stick with me forever.. And so will the Song of Storms, and Ballad of the Godess, Ghirahim's theme, etc.
I enjoy the area music from Skyward Sword too, such as Eldin Volcano, etc.
And I agree, the Layton games have awesome music...
Now, excuse me, I must compose some music based on this windmill... *proceeds to spin around, and around, and around, and around, and around...*
