Just like the topic says, Youtube will be shutting down for 10 years. Apparently their goal was just to make a website where videos can be posted and they choose the best video. There's also some famous people from popular youtube videos.
 
Hm. I don't believe it. I mean it's March 31st here and I don't know when that was uploaded, but I'm willing to bet it's an April Fools Day prank.

In my mind, it's a poorly executed joke at that. YouTube is the most popular video sharing site there is, and now Google owns it and makes a boatload of money from advertising on it. From both a consumerist and corporate view, it's a VERY bad decision to make, and therefore would never be done.
