Insider NateTheHate has provided an update on a variety of Nintendo projects, including rumors about Zelda remake, a new Star Fox game, and the lack of a 3D Mario in 2026. This comes from a new podcast published today.

It’s claimed that Star Fox will be making a return on Nintendo Switch 2 this summer. Apparently it’ll be a classic style Star Fox game, and “the visuals are supposed to be very good”. Online multiplayer is apparently in as well. This would make sense given the appearance of Fox McCloud in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Also claimed is that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is getting a remake on Nintendo Switch 2. No further details were provided aside from a second half of 2026 launch window.

As for 3D Mario, don’t expect to see that this year. NateTheHate claims that it’s coming in 2027 instead.

Wonder if Krystal will be in the new Star Fox game. If she is hopefully her "new" Furry PLOT looks will be good! lol maybe something like this fanart :

MonolithSoft was eyed for making Star Fox Zero before wonder if Monolith is the dev picked by Nintendo developing the new star fox game. Krystal would be hot if designed by Monolith lol lol

NateTheHate has spoken a little more about the Star Fox game which he claims is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this June. While Nate said that Nintendo is planning to announce it this month, we are nearing the end of it. Speaking on Reset Era Nate said that he has “zero doubt” that the Star Fox project is legitimate and says if it the announcement is delayed it simply means that Nintendo’s marketing team has adjusted the timeline a fraction

“I have zero doubt in the StarFox project — hell, VGC and a French journalist have also spoken about the game and back the info of it coming in June. If it doesn’t get revealed this month as planned, it simply means Nintendo made a marketing pivot and adjusted the timeline a touch.”

“I enjoy seeing the revisionist history around Splatoon Raiders when you had people doubting it would even release this year just days before I dropped this episode.”
 
Niiice! Looking good. Too bad the controls are still arcade-y though.
 
If it exists they won't scrap it just because of the leak. Remaking is not cheap.

Nah. Everyone who doubted Nate the Hate needs to give him an apology, because this proves him correct. So, if Zelda leak is correct, just come out with it. And they will. But I do think that Nintendo will try to fix this in the future, much like Sony is doing right now. Activision is doing the same with the Call of Duty leakers. Pretty public, too.
