Do you think Nintendo will ever remake these games with more modern graphics and music? Because honestly, I'd kind of like to see that, if only to see the graphics and music redone to 2014 standards and certain frustrating elements (like the Mermaid Suit controls, shield/power gauntlet equipping and Goron Dance game) redone to work in a more fair and entertaining way.

It'd also be cool if the remakes used the same codes as the originals. Think about it, backwards compatibility between the original titles and remakes? Who could say no to that?

So what do you think? Would you want to see remakes of Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages on future consoles? And what changes should be made here?

If they did then they should also remake Link's Awakening at the same time because they all use the same engine and share many other mechanics and source materials.
Maybe they could even make a triple pack whith three games in one. ^^ That would be cool.

You know what? I think I've said this before but I'll say it again: I can't believe they haven't remade the very first Zelda yet. (No, that weird BS-X Broadcasting System Zelda doesn't count... it's just weird.)

It would be great, but probably won't happen. Link's Awakening and both Oracles games were developed and written by Capcom. Nintendo had nothing to do with them other than give Capcom permission to make them. Capcom has been stupid as of late when it comes to remakes and sequels to best sellers. It is as if anything the fans want remade or continued they refuse to remake.

Remaking the Oracle games would be pretty awesome, but I'd be fine with waiting for them. Both games had a lot of details and imagination that I think a more powerful system could really expand upon.

A remake would also help me finally get it in my head that the Subrosians do not have one giant eye but instead have two eyes.

I agree altogether. Capcom hasn't really been loyal when it comes to games. I mean, look at Mega Man Legends 3, and a more obscure title, Maverick Hunters. I highly doubt they'd be willing to remake the Oracle games without cancelation.
