It looks AMAZING in my opinion. Twilight Princess's world seems so small now...
One concern I have is just how big the world is though. It takes at least 5 minutes for Link to reach the marked area on the map on horseback according to Anouma. That's five minutes of time when you don't have to actually do anything. There's a lot of time before the game is released though so I hope they'll fill out the time somehow.
That's awesome, but that's one thing I hate about Skyrim. The world is too damn big. Plus 5 minutes on horse back is insane. It's like sailing in Wind Waker. Oh well it looks great so far. I hope it does come out next year.
Man I love me some Elder Scrolls....and you all know I love me some Zelda. Putting them together, welp goodbye what little free time I had left in life. I can't wait to see the finished product and get lost in this game'sworld when it gets released. I wonder if they'll include skills, stats and party members. This game has many opportunities to try so many different things now and I've been longing for another game that explores the action RPG elements like Zelda 2 did.

I would love the RPG element back. That's what made Zelda 2 awesome.
I'm excited as well! Can't wait to see more!
As long as you still have a lot you can do while going places then I'm fine with the size of the world.
Agreed. I mean the ocean in Wind Waker was sooooooo empty and boring. TP's was also empty and boring, but I felt the horse was faster than the King of Red Lions. Not by much though. I feel like a huge world is a cheap way to make a game feel longer than it is. Like in the NES era where artificial difficulty like knock back was used to make a short game feel longer.
Alright that settles it. I'm getting the wii u. I don't know why I didn't get it before. This game look great and it kinda like an open world the skyrim.
I'm really excited for this, it looks like a ton of fun. Animations look great too, though I was sad that the glimpse we got during the VGA's was all offscreen. That was a smidge lame. Anyway, I can't imagine them deciding to make the world open and then not filling it with random encounters, collectibles, items and whatnots. They have lots of other well designed open world games to look too for inspiration, Nintendo can pull it off!
