So did I! Will you watch this newer one? I'm actually fond of the 80's cartoons. They were cheesy but at least were fun & entertaining.
I may give it a try. I like the 80's cartoons as well.

Dynamite Entertainment enjoyed tremendous success with the premiere of their new ThunderCats comic. Now the team’s fierce feline female, Cheetara, will receive her own solo series. The multi-issue miniseries will feature scripts by writer/artist Soo Lee and art by Domenico Carbone.
The new series will act as a prequel to the current ThunderCats comic. Set before the destruction of Thundera and the ThunderCats’ journey to Third Earth, the story will focus on Cheetara as she navigates the stifling world of the Thunderian nobility. The series will deal with her search for her place in an unsure universe. She will also contend with the psychic gift that gives her alarming visions of the ancient past and a disastrous future.
“There are some very cool things about Cheetara that have been overlooked in the original cartoon, things that I really want to make the center of her story,” noted Soo Lee. “She’s also iconic and very strong, it makes sense she gets her own series. It’s a look into one of the most important supporting characters.”
Dynamite Entertainment CEO and publisher Nick Barrucci also echoed the importance of Cheetara’s story and Lee’s commitment to telling it. “We didn’t want to create spin-offs just to create spin-offs,” Barrucci noted. However, Lee’s pitch for a story detailing things about Cheetara that were hinted at in the original cartoon but never developed was a clear winner.

Although Lion-0 has the body of an adult, his accelerated growth means that his physical strength has outpaced his emotions, and he still has a lot of growing up to do before he can achieve the kind of maturity that every leader needs. Luckily, a seasoned warrior is ready to help him master his temper with some painful combat lessons! Cheetara takes center stage for "Training Day"
