Well, are you? Or is this one Zelda game you're skipping out on?

Personally, I'm not sure. I'm tempted, but the region lock means the multiplayer is going to be basically unusable for me.

But how about anyone else here?

I'm buying it. I was going to buy it yesterday before work, but I got sick. :/

Also you can still do multiplayer with random people online. It's not a total loss.

Nope, not interested. I tried Four Swords when we got it free, and didn't like it. This seems similar at the least. Could care less about mltiplayer, especially with the oddly limited number of people and options.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The fact it's region lock stops it even being useful for people on forums like this one.

I ended up buying it. As I ranted before I had a huge beef with the idea of region block buuuuut apparently that's just with unknown people. So I agreed with a friend from another region we'll risk it and try it. He seems pretty confident it should be fine. I also think it make sense the region is just that since they're pairing you with random people is easier to do it with a server closer to you.

Anyway, if any of you ends up getting it and want to play feel free to contact me. maybe we could make some squad , hahah.

I'm skipping this one, the second they said friends required was the breaking point of me. I still need to get Majora's mask yet.
You don't need friends. It still has a solid single player. I got the game last night and it's freaking awesome.

I have little interest. Which makes me sad, cause it was a goal of mine to play all the Zeldas. Triforce Heroes though...
What does it do that four swords didn't? Have less players, and the whole totem thing. The totem thing looks kinda lame in my opinion. It just reduces the role of every player, especially the poor guy in the middle. The costumes are another feature I guess. Which sums up my opinion on them. It just doesn't feel like a Zelda game, it's a dungeon crawler with Zelda in the title.

Haven't tried yet, but I can't imagine it being much different. I played with Wings and a random person. Communication with them isn't hard.

1 player works but the dynamic feels different. Totem is useful to move them all in one go, hahah.
Still I miss the "follow me" instruction. You have to manually process each and move them near to you. It becomes quite tedious and if you don't have quick reflexes or tend to select the wrong doll in a hurry, boss battles can become quite challenging.

Is that really as good as playing with people you know?
I can't answer in comparison with friends (I need friends with the game! :() but so far I have had fun with it. I haven't found any jerk yet and even the mistakes we do seem honest and get me laughing out loud. The puzzles are not very difficult in theory, it is the execution what might come problematic, especially when you want to instruct one of the players to use their item. It is still fun to see how we manage to communicate our intentions to the rest and how quickly we oblige.

I honestly find the multiplayer mode fun, and the icons seems to be enough to encourage team work and communicate simple ideas. Anyway, I'd love to try with some friends as well.

Overall online has been a good experience. The disappointing side is the frigging friend tokens, needed for some outfits and just obtainable if you... I am pretty sure you can guess what i need to do for that, which feels unfair. Another thing is that very occasionally you will find the dreaded lag.

I'd buy it but I'm in the midst of preparing to move so money is very tight. However if the Twilight princess HD rumors are true, then I'll be getting TP first.

That would be my biggest quarrel with single player. I was "stuck" on a puzzle for a few minutes because of it. I wasn't really stuck, but it was kind of difficult with one person.

No guarantee they play the game right or just troll me.
The game has a blacklist so if you encounter a bad player you can add him there and the game will never pair you with him again.
Once again, so far I haven't found a troll person in the game. The closest we had was a group that liked to throw each other around and mess with the wind jar and stuff for a while before entering the end of level platform. It was like I said good natured.
I had a guy throwing himself to the fire over and over in one match. He costed us our try but later in the level I burnt myself and realise that it is the "run" mechanic activated just like in some Mario and Zelda games, it was just the unfortunate location that'd make him respawn get insta-burned and run towards his doom over and over. An accident only, after that we frigging ruled that level.
