It doesn't. It's a slow browser that only works on Windows 7 and up if you want any quality whatsoever.

Additionally, Firefox works on OSX, Win2K (or XP, forgot) and up, Linux, BSD, and OpenIndiana. How is IE the "best internet browser for slower computers" for the one quality that you named?

I suggest Firefox and Oprea browsers. Never use Chorme it will make the machine slow.

I would say firefox, I used to have Google Chrome but it kept crashing.
