Ah, the national pride indeed took over the common sense. Of course, I'm not saying that every guideline or law the European Union has passed had been the best choice for the whole union. For instance, the refugee crisis.
After the euphoria dies down, I reckon Brits will understand that they still would need to comply with certain trade rules in order to do business with the EU.

Basically it, even though they are on their own they still need to follow the others to get anything done.

Yep, they are in for a change. I heard that the two biggest reasons that the Brits voted to leave was the EU was so that they could be in more control of the immigration and of their laws. I had no idea that 1 out of every 7 laws that is created for Britain occurs in Belgium (the current head of the EU). How weird is that?
This - Brits googling what is EU - merely hours after the referendum shows us that perhaps a majority of people did indeed vote based on emotions not facts.
Interesting that a political topic gets brought up here. Overall I think it's very bad for them to leave the EU, it feels like a step backwards. The "majority" of 51.9% ... Also, that something of 70% of the population only participated in voting is kind of devastating to me, because politics shouldn't be ignored. I mean you could already see that within some hours the British pound dropped a lot in exchange rates.
And also the fact, that most young people voted against brexit is kind of sad for their future, because when all the elder people who mostly voted for a brexit are gone, it just feels terrible for them.

Half the time I don't understand about the damn politics and I haven't been in this country long enough to get to the terms of the politics. It's sounds damn bad with half of the politics team are leaving like the PM himself and the Queen has voted out also, Of course the rate will go down as Australia is also, but it shell go up and it has by very little.
Australia is in the land of the loop at the moment with the seating/voting on the next PM, Ozz has to vote again since it was an tire and it's DOWNNN hill ever since John Howard left. John made the country Strong without any bankrupted and ever since he leave it has gone down. I vote for Malcolm.
