Can Threads overtake Twitter?

I can't even remember the password of my Thread's account. I will have to reset the password if I ever want to get back into my account. I was fed up with it when it looked obviously like a failure when it was trying to compete with Twitter/X.

It still looks the same, but they’ve since added the trending topics feature.

Threads still have a long way to go before it overtake Twitter. Thread is really evolving but it can't possibly overtake Twitter.

It can never out perform X. I expected it to become popular after a while but it's still only going to be chasing X not ahead of it.

The uniqueness of X and the real-time updates has made it a staple for news, entertainment, and for so many other things. The strong user base it garnered makes it very challenging for other platforms to surpass it.

Yes, X have strong users who don't swing easy. If they were, all of them would have left X and jumped to Threads permanently.
