Honestly debating if I should just say screw the PS version (I only have the first game) and just get PC? What PC specs to best run the game is needed?

Well I haven't actually run the Pc version of the game since I want it to be the first game I play on my new pc that's still waiting for the RTX 5080 24gb version, but from stuff I read it's an excellent PC port, PC version got almost no LOD popups and other texture issue on the ps5 version and with superior FPS, lighting/shadows and Anti aliasing with DLSS. However the game got no official support for AMD's FSR stuff so you must have RTX NVIDIA GPU for best quality. RTX 3060 is already good enough for high quality settings with some tweaks. RTX 2060 is enough to run the game smoothly too. I'd say the RTX 3070 is the sweet spot for the game in terms of Price to quality ratio. And the ini hook mod for the game just released by the same modder that made the hook mod for the first part. With this ini hook mod, further manual customizations/optimizations/tweaks of the engine is possible now, like what I did with the first game. I will need to experiment with it later when my new pc is complete...

Modders already hard at work trying to get access to many of the game's files and make direct modifications on it. Rebirth Tifa nude PLOT Mod coming lol top priority for modders! lol
 
Tomorrow is a day off from work and there's no sports so I MUST GAME.
 
I am thinking of replaying FF 7 Part I from the beginning again but without any weapon upgrades for all party members. Wonder if I'd be able to beat the game without any weapon upgrades lol
 
Got a bunch recorded today, might do one more session in before its time to settle down for the night.
