SE said again their mobile games underperformed, read from siliconera:

Square Enix revealed that its mobile game division underperformed. To combat this, the company plans to step up internal development efforts. This segment revealed that Square Enix had primarily been outsourcing the development of its mobile titles. Additionally, while the company released several new titles within its third quarter, it stated that a majority of these games did not meet initial expectations. No specific game was mentioned.

However, Square Enix will continue to release mobile games, despite the mobile division underperforming and not meeting certain expectations. It also has plans to release new titles within its fourth quarter. That said, net sales rose within its mobile division due to changes in accounting policies. The briefing also revealed that, while existing titles did not perform as expected, sales within these games rose in January 2022.

Outside of its mobile division, Square Enix said it intends to have multiple launches during its fourth quarter. The briefing listed Triangle Strategy and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Additionally, despite halting sales of Final Fantasy XIV due to server congestion, Square Enix believes that the title will generate a “certain” amount of revenue within the fourth quarter.

I haven't bought or played a Mobile game in ages, I've never really been a fan of gaming on my mobile, just not as fun as on the big screen or other handhelds.

SE has too many heavy ideas to be throwing them onto mobile.

I need these 4 day week experiments to hurry up a bit so that we can implement them properly. Tired of the weekends going by so fast :(

Good evening everyone! It's been a while since I've been up this late (11:56PM currently). I took a late nap so now my circadian rhythm is out of whack. Hoping to get back on track soon. lol

What's your starter of choice for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Violet sounds like a better choice because it was a city name in Johto and the catnip (grass starter) looks cute.

I'm gonna get Scarlet more than likely. As for the starter... I'm not actually sure. It depends on the final evolution, but if I had to choose right now, I'd have to go with the apple croc. Or maybe it's a spicy pepper.
