Not talking about some super popular cultural phenomenon stuff like pokemon, the regular releases....do they make any money from outside of japan to care? I think some anime producers do and some don't because some shows don't try to cater to anyone outside of japan and some (MHA) seem like they're made to cater to some foreigners.

Probably not. I know when I'm creating something, I have a vague, general audience in mind. Not really zoned in based on region of the world. Most anime will premier in Japan only. Maybe if a title becomes super popular, a sequel may be written that caters towards a more foreign audience, but I still feel this is unlikely.

I feel some anime producer care about their anime becoming popular with other countries, so the anime producer can make more money., and become more famous.

Japan’s kind of weird where they mostly only care about it selling in their own country and it’s cool if foreigners like it, but it’s rarely a priority.
Yeah the same thing can be said for video games too. If it does well in other countries, cool but they definitely care more about their own country.

I'm sure fans are, if it means their series gets more attention.

I doubt they really care that much based on my opinion. From what I’ve seen, most of them make anime mainly for their home audience. If foreigners like it, cool, if not, no issues. But it’s funny how shows like Naruto and Attack on Titan got massive because of international fans.
