Do you know, Pyrobyte, the artist formally known as Matrix Pyro? I think he is secretly a communist here from the enemy to ambush us! Espionage I say! TUK, quick, think up a really complicated Math problem.

It didn't need to happen, but it was unpreventable. Two major powers with such different ideals never can end well.

Yes, but it only works on paper, in practice it doesn't. The government officials would still be rich, everyone getting paid the same would cause lack of motivation, etc.

Take 1.25 for an example. The "1" represents a full unit of 1. One whole. The .2 means "2 tenths" and the 5 means "5 hundredths".

So. Therefore.

1 = 1 whole

.9 repeating = nine tenths, nine hundredths, nine thousandths, etc. etc.

I see your logic there, and yes, it works with fractions. However, it just doesn't cut it with the standard form of numbers. And 1/9 really means 1 over 9. If that changes anything, which I suspect doesn't happen.

So yeah, prove 0.9 repeating = 1 without the use of fractions. It has to be calculated in it's raw form to be proven IMO.
