Do you think there would be fewer Gas Stations in the future?

I think gas stations will start to replace gas pumps with electric charging stations as electric cars become more popular, changing their business model rather than just shutting up shop completely.

I think it maybe more difficult for electric car charging stations to be as profitable as gas station because most buildings have access to electricity, and a lot of people may just charge their electric car at home, at a parking lot or workplace with a electric car charger. But, electric car charging stations can still make money from selling food, and magazines which a lot of gas stations sell when people go in a gas stations to pay for gas.

More parking lots will have electric car chargers, so electric charging stations would also be competing with parking lots and spaces with electric car chargers.

People who drive shorter distances or rarely drive may not need to charge their car away from their home electric car charger in their home garage .

As long as we're petrol oil dependent there will definitely be gas stations around. Although I hear of electric cars being charged at some place; or solar cars driven by sunlight; or even battery powered cars, all these may lead to something different in the future in terms of our energy demands. But I really doubt if it's gonna be soon because the brand new car models are still fossil fuel dependent and I know of one electric car manufacturer whose sales have flopped in the market just recently. People aren't really used to charging cars or depending on solar panels. As they say , "old habits are hard to break."

When we switch to solar and electric cars, there would still be gas stations but they might also transition as charging stations for the new types of cars. They won't be obsolete as soon as new types of cars are released because it will take a lot of time for countries to adapt to change, especially third world countries.

3rd world countries are actually much more accepting to new concepts that make them less dependent on 1st world countries that only cost them money any way.
With cars at this stage, the USA and EU were heavily dependent on the Middle East until recently now that the USA not only became able to self-produce their oil, but can also export it to the rest of the world (at least that will mean fewer wars in the Middle East because a given government decides to ditch the petro-dollar).

And since 3rd world countries use cars from the 1st world, they depend on these countries for oil as well.
While 3rd world countries can produce lots of other things that might eventually be used as alternative sources of energy at some point.

Well, maybe, if they do develop the solar cars or electric cars. We don't need the oil anymore or gas station. It will help us to save the environment also.

In my country there are maximum only 2-6 electric cars.

Don't think that I will see electric stations soon here.

The question must reverse the other way. Though gasoline is coming from nature, and there is a big possibility that it will become saturated in the future, we must not under estimate the other inventions of the new inventor to this generation. Maybe they can create an alternative for gasoline but can be part of the gasoline station. So instead gasoline station becomes fewer, I guess it will become more than what we expect.

I read an article that Shenzhen which is a city in China now uses 16,359 electric buses according to 100% — Chinese City's Record-Smashing 16,359 Electric Bus Fleet | CleanTechnica

China also has a lot of electric car drivers because they are not as expensive because of government discounts/subsidies on Electric vehicles. Some Chinese buyers are more loyal to Chinese brands, and are more likely to buy a Chinese Electric car than a Japanese, American, and other countries gas and electric car. It is easier to get a car license plate/registration in some cities in China for buyers who buy an Electric car according to China's anti-Teslas: cheap models drive electric car boom .

It may cost more to switch to mostly electric cars and buses for a city, but electric car owners won't be stuck paying high gas prices like $10 a gallon of gas if there is ever a gas shortage caused by war, earthquakes, forest fires, volcanic eruption and greedy gas companies who decide pump out less gas from the ground, so gas becomes more rare.

Well here in Australa, our petrol stations are selling food (not just milk and bread) because they are not making as much as they were in the past.

I don't think they would have charging stations, I think that would get installed in carparks.
